A letter from John & Lesley
Good Morning Walter,
First, I want to thank you for having provided me with a coil for my old Chevrolet.
Second I also want to thank you for letting me drive the Studebaker, you are very trusting.
I must say that your cars are very nice but also challenging to drive !! For the past 50 years I have driven automatic cars with power steering, etc.

Walter Fivaz, the owner of Coastal Customs in Mossel Bay. Has been building street rods and muscle cars as a passionate hobby for the past 45 years. His first build was Volkswagen Beetle which he purchased for R50 in 1970. The final paintwork was a pinkish base boat with a silver finish. Although the final colour didn’t quite pan out as anticipated, it actually turned out to be quite pleasing. After doing his own bodywork and getting it painted, he was hooked… The Beetle was eventually sold for R500.
